Industry's Marketing Arm
The Winery Association of Nova Scotia (WANS) is the industry's marketing arm. It forges partnerships that make the best sense for the industry's growth, is identifying and attracting potential investors, and works with government and other stakeholders to improve the business climate for winegrowers. The association also promotes the industry through annual festivals, events and tradeshows (international). It also helps raise consumer awareness of the quality and variety of local products.
Formed in 2002 to represent the interests of wine producers in Nova Scotia, the association has worked to catalyze practical changes that have bottom line results for producers. WANS also carries forward its members' vision for the future of the industry to partners and stakeholders.
WANS is committed to supporting excellence in the industry and helping to position the Wines of Nova Scotia brand on the world stage.
