The Nova Scotia wine industry and provincial government have collaborated to create a plan to double the number of wineries to 20 and increase the acreage of grapes grown from 400 to 1,000, by 2020. Nova Scotia winegrowers see success of the plan as the vital next step in securing a presence for Nova Scotia wine on the world stage. The plan includes initiatives that will continue to improve the business environment for producers.
