Our wine growers are special people. Many came from other countries to build on the unique opportunities that this province has to offer. But, regardless of their roots or backgrounds, our winegrowers display common characteristics -- a passion for the land, a commitment to quality and a love of the artistry of the craft.
Nova Scotia wine is defined by its climate, its soil and its proximity to the ocean. No spot in the province is more than 67 kilometers from salt water. These unique conditions combine to help create distinct flavours in our wines.
